For repair professionals

Help keep useful things working.

eServUK is building a repair-first marketplace for Home Repairs and Tech Repairs. Professional applications are now open for review, with approval handled separately before marketplace opportunities are made available.

Current status

Professional applications are open for review.

The first application collects basic account, business, service and coverage information. Submitting it creates a pending professional profile only. It does not approve the applicant, publish a profile, guarantee work or provide access to customer jobs.

Do not send identity, qualification, insurance or registration documents through the customer Get Help form. Where additional evidence is required, eServUK will use an appropriate review process rather than exposing private evidence publicly.

Who can apply

Built for capable repair professionals and service businesses.

Different ways of working can fit eServUK, but a business type or selected category is never treated as proof of suitability.

01

Sole traders

Individuals trading professionally and taking responsibility for the repair work they provide.

02

Repair businesses

Businesses focused on diagnosing faults, repairing equipment and extending useful life.

03

Service companies

Companies delivering repair and maintenance services through appropriately capable people.

04

Tech repair professionals

Professionals handling suitable device, computer, electronics and IT repair work.

Applications are reviewed. eServUK may approve, reject, restrict or request further information for particular service categories.

Marketplace V1 service direction

Start with Home Repairs and Tech Repairs.

The initial marketplace taxonomy covers practical home repair and maintenance work alongside technology and electronics repair. Applicants select only the services they genuinely provide.

eServUK can review suitability service by service instead of treating one approval decision as permission to perform every kind of work.

  1. 01

    Choose real services

Select the repair categories your business is genuinely equipped to handle.

  2. 02

    Set your coverage

Provide a UK postcode and realistic service radius so matching can later stay relevant.

  3. 03

    Submit for review

Your profile remains pending until eServUK completes the applicable review.

What eServUK will look for

Information relevant to the service.

Requirements can differ by work type. eServUK will avoid treating every category as though it has identical evidence, competence or regulatory expectations.

  • 01Relevant repair or maintenance experience
  • 02Appropriate business and contact information
  • 03Suitability for each requested service category
  • 04Evidence appropriate to the work where required
  • 05Insurance, registration or qualification information where relevant
  • 06Safe and professional working practices

Requirements may differ by service. This page does not itself establish a legal or qualification requirement for any trade.

A service-by-service trust principle

One service decision does not cover every type of work.

Eligibility can be considered for each requested service category. Experience or evidence relevant to one category will not automatically approve a professional for another.

Manual review first

Applications are considered by people.

Applying does not automatically approve an applicant, make a profile public, assign customer work or guarantee marketplace opportunities. Only an approved professional profile can become eligible for opportunities.

Why the careful approach matters

Build the network carefully.

Different repairs carry different competence and safety considerations. eServUK is prioritising trustworthy operations over rapidly listing professionals.

What you can do today

Submit your professional application.

Create a private account, select the services you provide and submit your coverage information for review. Customer opportunity access is introduced only after the relevant approval step.

Marketplace direction

A repair marketplace built around real transactions.

Approved professionals are intended to receive relevant opportunities, communicate through eServUK, submit offers and build a transaction-linked history as those marketplace stages are enabled.
